SCHEDULE

SATURDAY:

12PM - 2PM:

Hit It Hard: Drills & Technique with Kami Liddle

Open to all levels – advanced variations offered

Get ready to sweat in this high-energy, no-nonsense drills class focused on precision and clarity. We'll dive deep into the foundations of clean isolations, shimmies, hip work, and arm pathways—all rooted in anatomical awareness and proper alignment.

Whether you're newer to technique or a seasoned dancer looking to refine and polish, this class offers layered options to meet you where you are. Expect detailed instruction, focused repetition, and plenty of burn.

Perfect for anyone who wants to work hard, move with intention, and sharpen their movement with control and finesse.

3PM - 6PM:

Snakey & Slinky: Choreography with Kami Liddle

For intermediate/advanced dancers

Learn Kami’s latest choreography: a slow, slinky, and snakey piece set to "What I Can Do" by CONTRA. This workshop builds directly on the isolations and movement vocabulary introduced in the earlier drills class.

We’ll explore how to bring the choreography to life through intentional transitions, muscular control, and expressive layering. You’ll leave with a strong grasp of the phrasework and a deeper connection to your movement.

This workshop is open to all levels, though previous participation in the technique class is recommended for full integration.

SUNDAY:

10AM-12PM

Intentional Movement with Kami Liddle

Open to all levels

A mindful exploration of movement, breath, and presence.

This session invites participants to slow down, tune into their breath, and reconnect with the body beyond technique. We’ll begin with grounding exercises to cultivate awareness and presence, then move into guided explorations inspired by prompts and themes designed to spark curiosity and personal expression. Participants are encouraged to follow their body’s organic impulses and discover their own movement vocabulary.

In the second half of the session, we’ll weave these explorations into simple structured movement—offering an opportunity to practice integrating intention, sensation, and expression. A short phrase of choreography will be shared, but the focus remains on embodiment rather than perfection.

By practicing mindfulness through movement, we enhance proprioception (our somatic awareness), deepen our emotional connection to motion, and expand our capacity for expressive communication—whether we identify as dancers, yogis, athletes, or simply curious movers.

This class is open to all bodies and backgrounds. No prior dance experience necessary—just a willingness to move with intention.

1PM-3PM

Soothing Psoas: Unlocking the Psoas for Fluid Movement and Freedom with Matthias Lauwers

Open to all levels

Join me and Kami for a deeply restorative and insightful 2-hour yoga workshop designed especially for dancers—particularly belly dancers—seeking to release tension and reconnect with the core of their movement: the psoas muscle.

The psoas is often called the “muscle of the soul”—a deep core muscle that connects the spine to the legs and plays a vital role in pelvic mobility, posture, and lower back health. In bellydance, where fluid hip articulation and grounded expression are essential, a responsive and supple psoas can make the difference between restricted movement and embodied grace.

Bring: yoga mat and a blanket or towel.
